This responsibility is assumed in the centre by professionals in the fields of Psychology and Pedagogy. These professionals make up the Guidance Department.
Educational Guidance Service
The service provided is aimed at supporting the teaching and learning process of our students. The guidance counsellor, in coordination with the teaching staff and families, will propose and coordinate the measures required for pupils with learning difficulties, high abilities or behavioural adaptation problems. All psycho-pedagogical intervention is based on a psycho-pedagogical evaluation of the pupil, which will allow us to define their educational needs. Within this framework, psycho-pedagogical intervention is at the service of joint and individualised education.
Within our work, the day-to-day work carried out with the tutors to prevent and detect the special educational needs of the pupils is of special importance.
In addition, the Guidance Department provides support for all aspects related to tutorial action, academic and professional guidance, the preparation of curricular adaptations and the monitoring of students with difficulties.
