What do we work on?
LANGUAGE DISORDERS
DYSLALIAS
Disorder of articulation, due to inadequate use of the articulatory organs, without any organic cause that justifies it.
LANGUAGE DELAYS
A child whose language development is below that which would correspond to his or her age.
DYSLEXIA
Disorder that manifests itself as a persistent difficulty in learning to read and write.
TEL-DYSPHASIA
Specific disorder of language acquisition, at the expressive and comprehension level, which does not evolve spontaneously and which is resistant to speech therapy intervention.
DYSPHEMIA OR STUTTERING
It is an alteration in the fluency of spoken language, characterised by involuntary repetitions and blockages during the utterance of speech.
VOICE DISORDERS. Dysphonia in children and adults
Alteration of the voice in its pitch, timbre or intensity, as a consequence of misuse or abuse of the voice, or acquired damage.
APHASIA
It is the affectation of language caused by a lesion or damage to the N.C.S. (cerebral infarction, stroke, thrombosis…) Or after an accident with encephalic trauma.
SWALLOWING DISORDERS AND DENTAL MALOCCLUSION
Due to poor infant feeding habits and prolonged use of bottles and soothers, more and more children need rehabilitation before or after orthodontics.
